Ti Atis (Little Artists)

Haiti Cultural Exchange returns to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum for a new season of interactive youth and family programming! Learn about diverse art forms and celebrate Haitian culture through activities and performances facilitated by Haitian artists. This program engages with Haitian history and heritage via the arts by giving children the tools to build an inclusive and culturally informed future.

Ti Atis (Little Artists) takes place on the second Saturday of each month from November 2024 through May 2025. Each Saturday features a different instructor and art form from the community. Attendance is free with Museum admission. First come, first served.

Saturday, April 12: Wild Seeds workshop with Laurena Finéus

Guest instructor Laurena Finéus will lead a Wild Seeds mixed media art workshop teaching young artists to use their creativity to explore nature in the world around them! Participants will create their own magical garden by mixing places that feel important to them together and learn art skills like composition and color along the way.
