Brooklyn Children’s Museum is turning 125! To celebrate, we’re throwing open our doors for a FREE weekend extravaganza filled with non-stop fun. Dance at our disco party, glide on our outdoor sock-skating rink, create anniversary-themed art, and enjoy surprise giveaways and raffles. Don’t miss your chance to be part of BCM’s biggest birthday party ever!

Shadow Puppet Theater

Artists of ArtRink

Meet the talented artists behind this year’s ArtRink “We Celebrate” art installation! Visitors can engage with participating artists, take part in hands-on art-making activities, and purchase unique artwork and merchandise – perfect for holiday gifting. Stop by to celebrate creativity and support local artists!

Celebrate BCM’s 125th anniversary with our special family photo booth! Gather your loved ones and strike a pose with fun, festive backdrops that honor the joy and connection of families. For just $5, you’ll receive a digital keepsake to remember this historic milestone.

Portrait Collage Project
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Be part of BCM’s 125th birthday celebration! Join award-winning photographer Anderson Zaca to create a community portrait collage. Families will receive a Fujifilm instant photo to take home and contribute to our commemorative birthday mural. This project is made possible through the generous support of Fujifilm.
Dance Through The Decades
Saturday: 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm
Sunday: 11:30 am – 12:15 pm, 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm
Join dance instructor Kadeem Alston-Roman for this exciting and energetic class exploring popular social dances across the decades. From the Twist to the Electric Slide to the Cha Cha Slide, this workshop will get both kids and adults moving and grooving together. All skill levels welcome – join us for the party!
