Founded in 1899, Brooklyn Children’s Museum (BCM) has been a leader in progressive education for 120 years. BCM serves children and youth in Brooklyn and throughout New York City with programs that highlight visual art, natural science, world cultures, advocacy, and activism.

Visit BCM with your students, and experience engaging, New York State Learning Standards-aligned school programs. Educator-led programs utilize the Museum’s unique features, including our collection of natural science specimens and cultural artifacts, live animals, and permanent exhibits. Students engage in interdisciplinary, inquiry-based programs that offer hands-on, immersive, and memorable experiences.
