One Crown Heights

Join us for the ninth annual One Crown Heights festival, a celebration of diversity and unity in the heart of Brooklyn!
What to expect:
- Live music and dance performances by Brooklyn artists
- Fun street games and art activities for all ages
- Kosher and non-kosher food vendors
- Free admission to Brooklyn Children’s Museum
Enjoy our outdoor stage featuring all-women percussion ensemble Batala, classically-trained cellist Laura Melnicoff, griot-inspired Kakande, songwriter Aaron Einhorn, and the steelpans of Tropicalfete. Inside BCM’s theater, children will be treated to an entertaining mix of music, puppetry, and storytelling presented by the SmallWonder Puppet Theater.
Brooklyn Children’s Museum will be open from 10 am – 5 pm and will be free throughout the entire day.
Museum activities include:
- Design a roller coaster car in our ColorLab art studio, inspired by artist EJ Hill
- Build and test earthquake-resistant skyscrapers in our Nature’s Engineers STEM makerspace
- Free screenings of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (part of our Superhero Summer movie marathon)
