West Indian American Day Carnival Association Presents Caribbean Cultural Workshop V

Get ready for culture and carnival! Join West Indian American Day Carnival Association (W.I.A.D.C.A.) in a 7-week cultural experience featuring costume design, steel pan rhythms, Caribbean history and more! Each workshop features an opportunity to bring you closer to the Museum’s 2012 KIDDIES CARNIVAL FIESTA & COSTUME PARADE on Saturday, June 30th. Workshops run on Saturdays through June 30 – except May 26th.
*This week’s workshop offers an Introduction to Steelpan Music & Costume Construction; while kids continue with the design of their very own Carnival regalia.
Pre-registration and advance fee required please RSVP/register by May 8th to Ms. Natasha at 718-467-1797. Limited seats available!
