  REMIND ME Extended Spring Break Hours: 9:30am-5:00pm! 09:30, for All ages Come and spend the day with us! REMIND ME Blooming Babies: Flower Power 11:30, for 18 mos-2 1/2 yrs It's spring time and the flowers are blooming. Learn what flowers need to live and grow and plant your own flower to take home. REMIND ME Gumdrop Construction Site 01:30, for 4 and up Put that Easter candy to work! Practice making simple shapes with gumdrops and toothpicks, and then use the sticky shapes to make 3-D patterns! Test which shape is the strongest, then build skyscrapers, bridges, and domes. REMIND ME Patterns, Patterns, Everywhere! 02:30, for 2 1/2 to 5 yr olds A, B, C…1, 2, 3… look out, because patterns are everywhere! Which ones can you find? Celebrate the opening of our new traveling exhibit, Pattern Wizardry. Observe patterns in the environment, then listen for patterns in Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Eric Carle. After the story, create your own pattern book to share with friends and family at home!

REMIND ME Meet and Greet: Creatures of the Sea 12:00, for All ages Touch a sea star, pet a sea urchin, feel a hermit crab dance across your hand. Discover how diverse life really is under the sea and learn how to help preserve their habitats! REMIND ME Solar Power - Light It Up! 01:30, for 4 and up How can you light a light bulb? Plugging it in or using batteries is easy enough, but what about harnessing the power of the sun? Explore alternative energy and circuits to build your own light and sound show! Learn how the Museum has used recycled materials to build our exhibits and make your own exhibit-worthy creation to take home! REMIND ME Clay Art 02:30, for 5 and under Use your toes and your fingers to explore the fun squishy and mushy world of clay. Create your own clay painting to take home. REMIND ME Live Animal Encounter: Invasive Species 04:15, for All ages Learn about and touch live animals from the Museum’s living collection, including exotic animals that could take over local habitats. Learn why you should never release exotic pets into the wild.
